About Us

Our History

MICRO‑AIDE is located in Southern California in the City of Covina. We were founded in 1981. Since our earliest days MICRO‑AIDE has addressed the needs of the industrial-grade electronics market.

Our first product line was comprised exclusively of STD Bus printed circuit boards. MICRO‑AIDE STD Bus PCBs were, and continue to be, used in many industrial control applications involving manufacturing, processing, measurement and data collection.

By the mid-1980s our STD Bus PCBs were being used by customers to create specialized products for the highway and railroad industries. The first STD Bus-based Local Control Units and Event Recorders used MICRO‑AIDE PCBs. MICRO‑AIDE would eventually offer its own complete assemblies. Thus was born the LCU and Model 48 Event Recorder.

Today

Over the years our product line has expanded to include a broad collection of data logging, communication, sensor and controller products. However, what was true in 1981 remains true today. We continue to design products that serve the industrial-grade electronics market.

All of our products are conceived, designed, manufactured, tested and supported by MICRO‑AIDE staff. We remain fully committed to satisfying the most demanding customer requirements. Our products are designed to operate in harsh environments that typically include significant vibration, high humidity and ambient temperatures ranging from -40C to +70C.

Our Commitment

As a privately owned and operated company we are proud of the reputation we have earned for the quality, innovation and value that characterize our products. We are an engineering and design driven company with a unique approach to product development.

We believe successful products are those conceived by the requirements of our customers. Our ability to comprehend and appreciate those requirements and then to realize them in the form of a useful product has been and will remain the most important factor in MICRO‑AIDE's success.
